People are being invited to have their say on how thousands of pounds can be spent improving life in neighbourhoods across Brighton and Hove.

Through the Better Brighton & Hove fund, residents can suggest how money raised from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) should be used.

Almost £750,000 is available with every ward in the city awarded at least £22,000 to spend.

The money has been raised from agreements made between the council and developers, as part of the planning process.

Under the scheme, a percentage of the money raised from some new developments, such as homes, shops and student accommodation, can be used to improve amenities in the areas where building has taken place.

In the first phase, people can share their suggestions for neighbourhood improvements or show support for other proposals.

Once ideas have been reviewed and shortlisted, residents will be able to vote for the schemes to be delivered.
