Two people treated by ambulance after blaze in Seaford

Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at a property on Cliff Close, Seaford in the early hours of 28th December.

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service was called to the scene at 2:43am, deploying four fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, and a control unit.

Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the blaze using one main jet and two hose reel jets.

By 5:00am, the emergency response expanded, with eight fire engines, additional equipment, and services from the ambulance and police also on-site. Two people were treated by the ambulance service.

The fire was confirmed to be extinguished by 6:00am. Crews are expected to return to the property at 8:30am to reinspect the site, and an investigation into the cause of the fire will take place soon.
