Racing activities at Eastbourne's Arlington Stadium have abruptly come to an end after more than 60 years, as the stadium owners have decided not to host oval racing events anymore.

This announcement was made by Spedeworth Motorsports, which has been organising events at the stadium since its inception, drawing tens of thousands of drivers and race fans over the decades.

The decision comes just after a successful event held at the venue on Thursday night (6 August), leaving the organisers and fans alike shocked and disappointed.

Spedeworth Motorsports expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported their events at Arlington Stadium, sharing that they had hoped to continue creating memories at the beloved venue.

The motorsports organisation, known for its passion for racing, has assured fans that they will continue to strive for growth in driver and fan engagement in the sport.

Further updates regarding bookings and future plans will be provided in the coming days by Spedeworth Motorsports.
