Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision near Bexhill

Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage

A 29-year-old man is hospitalised with serious injuries following a collision involving a motorcycle and a van near Bexhill.

Emergency services responded to the incident at approximately 4.50pm on 7th June, where a grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a black Kawasaki motorcycle collided on the A259 Barnhorn Road.

Incident location

The collision occurred close to the petrol station at the junction with Coneyburrow Lane.

The motorcycle rider was seriously injured and remains in hospital, while the 43-year-old driver of the van was uninjured.

Police appeal for information

Sussex Police are investigating the collision and its circumstances. Officers are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant information, who have not yet come forward, to contact them.

Dashcam or CCTV footage capturing the vehicles moving westbound from the Little Common roundabout between 4.40pm to 4.50pm is particularly sought.
