More CCTV installed along Brighton seafront

More cameras have been installed along Brighton seafront to help stop antisocial behaviour.
Existing CCTV on the lower promenade has also been adjusted to give a better overview of the area.
The cameras are hoped to help identify issues earlier and help speed up response times, if needed.
Councillor Amanda Grimshaw, Cabinet Advisor for Community Safety at Brighton & Hove City Council, said:
“Greater visibility also acts as a strong deterrent to anti-social behaviour along the seafront.
“This is part of our ongoing work to keep our seafront welcoming and safe for residents and visitors.”
While the monitoring's managed by council staff, police also have 24/7 access to footage.
