Police are investigating a serious collision involving an electric scooter in Brighton

A man has been left with potentially life-threatening injuries following a collision involving an electric scooter in Brighton.

Emergency services were called to Davey Drive at around 3pm on 20th December following a report of a crash involving an electric scooter rider.

The rider, a 34-year-old man, was taken to hospital with injuries described as potentially life-threatening.

Police appeal for witnesses

Sussex Police have launched an investigation into the incident, including house-to-house enquiries, and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information or footage to come forward.

Officers are requesting relevant dashcam or doorbell camera footage that may help them understand the circumstances surrounding the collision.
