A 20-year-old man has been jailed for 15 years for grooming and sexually abusing young girls in West Sussex.
Tarek Miah used social media platforms to make contact with his victims.
Miah admitted multiple sexual offences, including four counts of raping one victim aged under 13 between 2023 and 2024.
He also pretended to be a teenage boy to incite another girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity between 2024 and 2025.
In February, he met two girls in a Midhurst car park, locking them in and driving away despite their protests.
Miah appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court on 24th June where he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
He will serve a minimum of 10 years before being considered for parole and faces three additional years under an extended sentence.
He admitted to additional offences including false imprisonment, inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and creating indecent images of children.
He was made a registered sex offender and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order restricts his access to digital devices and children.
Detective Constable Peter Parkinson described Miah as a dangerous offender.
"We are very pleased with the sentence of 15 years' imprisonment and hope this outcome brings some measure of closure to the victims and their families," he said.
"Their bravery has ensured that Tarek Miah is serving a significant custodial sentence."
