Man charged with attempted murder following suspected West Sussex stabbing

Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries last week

Police investigating a suspected stabbing in a West Sussex village have charged a man with attempted murder.

Two men aged 28 and 30 and a 54-year-old woman suffered injuries consistent with a stabbing at a house in Pulborough Road on Thursday (January 16th).

The woman and the 30-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious injuries after police were called to the address at around 7.25pm that evening.

Both have since been discharged.

28-year-old Thomas Hoe, of Pulborough Road in Cootham, was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.

He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Lewes Crown Court on February 14th.

Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident, however anyone who has information is urged to come forward online or on 101, quoting Operation Brandy.
