Man arrested in Eastbourne after woman stabbed in leg
The 18 year old suspect is being questioned on suspicion of GBH
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following a stabbing in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, on Monday evening.
Emergency services were called at around 8.30pm on 15 December after a woman in her 20s was stabbed in the leg. She was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
A police spokesperson said: “The man remains in custody while we continue to investigate the circumstances. We ask anyone with information or footage who has not yet spoken to officers to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 1276 of 15/12.”
