An inquest is opening today for a Bexhill woman, found dead in a hotel room after taking a lethal combination of nine drugs, sold as cocaine.

Thirty six year old Rebecca Turner took a mix of painkillers, sleeping pills and anxiety medication while in Thailand with her partner in March last year.

She had been attending a wedding in Bangkok at the time.

Her mum, Anita, has been raising awareness since, in hopes she can save the life of somebody else's child.

Mum hopes she can save just "one person"

She told Greatest Hits Radio:

""I want to go out and say please, please, whatever you do, please do not take any drug anyone offers you, because I've just lost my daughter through the same thing.

"She was just partying and took something somebody gave her and didn't wake up.

"If I can save one person from taking anything out there, I'm happy. "

In tears, she continued that she "can't believe Rebecca's gone":

"I think about all the time. I wake up crying.

"I just break down every day behind closed doors, but sometimes not behind closed doors.

"I try and put on a brave face sometimes when I'm out, but it's so hard."

The inquest is due to conclude today.
