All the road closures in Hastings as thousands tackle Half Marathon
Thousands of runners are taking on Hastings' fortieth annual half marathon today.
Around 3000 runners will tackle the 13.1 mile route beginning on Sea Road - up towards Baldslow - and back again.
It means roads closures will be in place from 10am - but will re-open on a rolling basis as runners pass.
Among them, is Tracy Watts - who is running as a Christmas tree to raise money for the old town Christmas lights:
"I know that they spend the whole year raising money for the Christmas tree and the Christmas lights in the Old Town.
"I thought maybe I could see if I can get a little bit of money together for them by running the half marathon," she shared.
"The main thing is because it is made of felt, so it is hot, but it's quite roomy.
"I think Christmas tree was quite a good choice because it's quite breathable, so that will help me.
"But it will make it a little bit of struggle going up those hills."
