'Take action' message for Sussex residents as flood alerts issued for River Ouse

Multiple flood alerts have been issued across Sussex as Storm Chandra continues to deliver downpours in the region
The Environment Agency has issued 24 flood alerts, with flooding expected in two areas of the county: Barcombe Mills on the River Ouse and on the Cuckmere and Bull Rivers at Hellingley and Horsham.
People living nearby are being advised to activate any self-installed flood defences, with field and gardens expected to flood.
