Motorcyclist killed during crash in St Leonards

Sussex Police say two motorbikes were involved in the collision earlier this week

A motorcyclist has died during a fatal crash in St Leonards.

Sussex Police say the collision, which involved two motorbikes, happened on Harley Shute Road at around 3.50pm on Tuesday (3 March).

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite the efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead. His next of kin have been informed.

A 49-year-old man from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released, and no further action will be taken against him.

Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

They are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant dash cam footage to come forward.
