Man dies in serious A27 collision at Falmer
Police have confirmed that a 16 year old is also being treated for injuries.
Police have confirmed that a man has died following a serious collision in Falmer early this morning (Wednesday 28th January).
Emergency services went to the single vehicle crash on the A27 westbound near the Amex stadium at 2am.
One man was sadly declared deceased at the scene, his next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with his family during this time.
A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
No arrests have been made.
The road closure on the A27 has been extended and is now in place on the westbound carriageway of the A27 between the Kingston roundabout and the Carden Avenue, Brighton junction.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes to avoid the area.
