Sussex zoo reopens after power cut

A leading Sussex tourist attraction's re-opening today (Thursday 24th July) after a power outage yesterday meant they had to shut the gates.

Visitors were sent home from Drusilla's Park zoo at Alfriston during the afternoon.

A local power cable had been damaged - leading to the cut - but that's now been repaired and supplies restored, so it's business as usual again for the zoo.

Park bosses say anyone who's visit was unexpectedly ended early can get a replacement ticket for another day by emailing them.
