Disruption on Sussex roads as thousands of cyclists head to Brighton

There's disruption on roads across Sussex as thousands of cyclists taking part in a charity ride from London to Brighton.
They're completing a 55 mile route down from Clapham Common to raise a over £1.5 million for different causes.
The first cyclists are expected to arrive in the city from 8:45am, with the last aiming for a finish time of 6pm.
Organisers Skyline Events are encouraging people walking along the route to take extra care.
In a letter addressed to residents, it advised avoiding Turners Hill Road for south facing travel, with delays expected at the crossroads between 7am and 3pm.
|"The route continues south through Ardingly and Haywards Heath to reach the famous climb over Ditchling Beacon, which is closed throughout the day to give riders access to Brighton," it continued.
"The roads along length of the route will be busier than usual, delays are likely travelling in the direction of cyclists and alternative routes should allow easier access."
