Comedian Rosie Jones says she was subjected to homophobic and ableist attack on Brighton train

British Transport Police are investigating after Comedian Rosie Jones claimed she and a friend were subjected to ableist and homophobic abuse during a train journey from Brighton.

The 35 year old, who has cerebral palsy, says a plastic wine bottle was thrown at them on Sunday (5 October) night.

The incident was captured in a video shared on social media, showing the aftermath.

Fellow comedian Lee Peart posted on Instagram: "Thank you for your lovely messages and we are both doing fine and yes we have reported it. The BTP took us home and were wonderful. Rosie Jones is a wonderful human."
