Sussex Police are appealing for information following a report of a dog attacking another dog on a 5A bus in Brighton.

On Friday, 13 March between 4 and 4.30pm, an 80-year-old woman boarded the bus in North Street with her dog, a Cavalier Poodle.

As they passed two other dogs on board, one of them was reported to have attacked the Cavalier Poodle, causing it significant injuries. Sadly, the dog has since been put to sleep as a result.

The breed of the dog involved in the attack is not yet confirmed, however it is described as a type of Bull Terrier.

Police are wanting to speak with the man in the images as he may be able to assist further enquiries.

If you recognise the man, or have any information to report, contact police online, or by calling 101 quoting reference 1427 of 13/03.
