Cannabis plants found in Brighton flat following fire

Emergency services made the discovery on Friday

Police appealing for witnesses after cannabis plants were discovered at the scene of a fire in Brighton.

Emergency services were called to a fire at a flat in Beaconsfield Road at around 3.50pm on Friday (January 10th).

Nobody was reported to have been in the house at the time and no one was injured.

No arrests have been made and officers are continuing enquiries.

Anyone with information about the fire or activity at the property can report online or call 101 quoting serial 772 of 10/01.

Those who suspect or are aware of any properties where cannabis may be cultivated are being asked to report them to Sussex Police online, by calling 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or through their website.
