Police investigation underway after bus and car crash in Halnaker
Appeals made for witness accounts and dashcam footage
Sussex Police have launched an investigation following a collision between a Stagecoach bus and a car in Halnaker.
The accident took place around 5:30pm at the junction of New Road and Stane Street, on 6th July 2026.
Minor injuries were reported for both the bus driver and a passenger.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach acknowledged the collision and noted their cooperation with emergency services and local authorities during the investigation.
They also thanked the emergency services for their prompt and professional response.
Appeals for Information
As part of their investigation, Sussex Police are seeking witnesses and individuals with dashcam footage of the incident.
