Brighton and Hove Albion have been drawn away to Norwich City of the Championship in the third round of the FA Cup.

Fabian Hurzeler's Seagulls, who enter the competition at this stage alongside all other Premier League and Championship sides, found out their opponents in the draw, conducted last night (Monday 2nd).

It's the first time the two sides have played each other since a goalless draw at the Amex in the Premier League in April 2022.

Brighton have never won the tournament but appeared in the final in 1983, losing 4-0 to Manchester United in a replay after the original match finished goalless.

They last made it to Wembley in 2023, losing to the same opponents on 7-6 penalties following a goalless draw.

The Seagulls are the last team from Sussex left in the tournament after Crawley Town were beaten 4-3 by Lincoln City in the second round on Saturday (November 30th).

The match will be held at Carrow Road across the weekend of 11-12 January 2025.
