Bexhill: Pedestrian dies after being hit by car

An 82-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene

A man has died after being hit by a car in Bexhill.

The 82-year-old was knocked down outside Custom Café on the A259 Barnhorn Road at around 8.20pm on Saturday.

Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin were being supported by specialist officers.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
