All the Sussex businesses receiving a Kings Award

Four Sussex businesses are being nationally recognised for their outstanding achievements.

They've received a Kings Award for Enterprise.

The accolade's the most prestigious of it's kind, celebrating outstanding UK businesses, and their contributions to innovation and the economy.

Who are the winners in Sussex?

The awards are split into the categories of innovation, international trade, sustainable development, promoting opportunity through social mobility

Dog G8

Horsham-based Dog G8 have won the award for Innovation.

They create retractable, modular dog safety gates, which are aimed to prevent dog escapes and attacks at doors, homes, and motorhomes.

Metricell

Metricell, which hail from Horsham, are also on the list for innovation.

The business revolves around using AI to for monitor and manage mobile network connectivity.

ERG (Air Pollution control) limited

From their West Sussex base, ERG have been praised for their contributions to International Trade.

They create air pollution and odour control solutions, which are sent abroad to help with international industrial and wastewater sectors.

Nikwax

Representing Sussex Weald in the sustainability category, Nikwax is being praised for "driving sustainability with innovative, water-based solutions that empower people to enjoy nature responsibly."

They created sprays which can be used to clean, waterproof and deodorize outdoor clothing.

The winners will now attend a royal reception to accept their award.
