Woman dies after being hit by a truck in Guilford
An investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.
A woman has died after being hit by a truck in Guilford.
Police were called to the A31 Hogs Back just before 1:55pm on Tuesday (17th June) to reports of a collision between the driver and a pedestrian.
Sadly the pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, died at the scene. and her next of kin have been informed.
An investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.
The A31 eastbound carriageway was closed between Puttenham and Farnham Road for several hours to allow us to carry out initial enquiries but has since reopened.
Police are now looking to speak to anyone who might have witnessed this collision, or anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident.
