Second person dies after A3 Hindhead crash
A woman in her 30s passed away in hospital
A woman has died from injuries sustained in a crash on the A3 in Hindhead.
The woman in her 30s was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision last week (3 March)
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but passed away.
Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
The crash occurred shortly before 6.30pm north of the Hindhead Tunnel.
It involved two vehicles, a black Ford Fiesta and a grey Ford Fiesta.
The black Fiesta was travelling northbound and after exiting the tunnel, it crossed the central reservation onto the southbound carriageway, colliding with the grey Fiesta.
Both cars were heavily damaged in the incident.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
