Woman charged with drink-driving offences after road traffic collision in Fleet

A 38-year-old woman has been charged with drink-driving offences following a road traffic collision in Fleet.

A black Nissan Micra was reported to have collided with a fence on Velmead Road at around 1.45pm on Tuesday 12 May.

Police made an arrest shortly after.

Since then, Victoria Carr, of North Road, Ash Vale has been charged with:

  • Drive a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit
  • Drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence
  • Use a motor vehicle on a road public place without third party insurance

She has been released on bail and will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday 2 June.
