Woking hosts celebrations for McLaren Racing’s championship wins

Formula 1 enthusiasts can enjoy interactive activities in Woking this February half term

McLaren Racing will bring the thrill of Formula 1 to Woking Town Centre this February half term, celebrating their triumphant 2025 Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships.

Set to take place from 18th to 22nd February, the event will feature a range of free Formula 1-themed activities at Victoria Place Woking.

Fans can immerse themselves in the excitement with F1 simulators for both adults and kids, an interactive pit stop challenge, and a display of a full-scale McLaren Formula 1 show car.

The Constructors’ Championship trophy will also be showcased at the Hilton Woking from 19th to 21st February.

Cllr Ann-Marie Barker, Leader of Woking Borough Council, expressed pride in McLaren Racing’s achievements:

"We are incredibly proud of McLaren Racing’s outstanding success in securing both the 2025 Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships - a phenomenal achievement by a team that calls Woking home."

Barker added that McLaren contributes significantly to the local economy and community pride and emphasized the excitement of the event for residents and visitors.

Lou McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer at McLaren, highlighted the unique opportunity for the Woking community to celebrate their double championship win.

“Woking is the home of the McLaren Technology Centre and our team, so I’m delighted to be able to celebrate our double championship win with our local community.”

The activities will run daily from 10am to 6pm.
