Robin Cull, a 47-year-old man from Woking, has received a five-year driving ban after dashcam footage captured him driving erratically and reaching speeds of up to 130mph on the A3.

Officers initially obtained Cull's dashcam while investigating a hit-and-run incident on Woking Road in Guildford in March 2026.

Cull claimed a black Golf collided with him, resulting in a broken leg.

Upon reviewing the dashcam footage, police discovered Cull driving at high speeds and overtaking multiple vehicles across the county.

The footage also showed Cull tailgating the Golf before overtaking it and later slowing down to 10mph, causing a road blockage.

Cull then exited his vehicle, leading to a collision with the Golf.

Police determined the Golf driver was not at fault, finding no damage to their car.

Cull was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, based on the dashcam evidence.

At Guildford Crown Court on 7th April, Cull pleaded guilty to the charges.

He received a suspended five-month prison sentence and was ordered to pay over £1,000 in costs.

Upon lifting his driving suspension, an extended re-test is required.

PC Pat Nixon of the Roads Policing Unit commented on Cull's reckless driving: "Cull’s treacherous manner showed a clear disregard for any rules or safety measures on our roads."

The case underscores the police's commitment to addressing dangerous driving behaviour to ensure road safety.
