Search for driver underway after woman and baby collide with van in Whyteleafe

A woman in her 20s and a baby have been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision in Whyteleafe this morning, 6th January.

The incident happened at around 6.45am on the A22 Godstone Road and involved a white van, which failed to stop.

The pedestrians were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital as a precaution.

Surrey Police have appealed for information and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or has relevant footage such as CCTV, dashcam or helmet cam recordings, to get in touch using the reference CAD-0085.
