Witness appeal after serious collision in Reigate

Police are appealing for witnesses, after a serious collision in Reigate yesterday evening (Thursday, 5 June).

The collision occurred just before 5.45pm on Hornbeam Road, between the driver of a silver Mercedes and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car left the scene after the collision and officers have since located the vehicle. The driver remains outstanding and our teams are pursuing a number of active lines of enquiry to find this individual.
