Witness appeal after altercation in Oxted

Police are appealing for witnesses, after an altercation in Oxted.

Officers received reports of an altercation in the car park of Morrisons on East Hill between 12:30pm and 12:45pm on May 2, during which a woman and her child were subjected to verbal abuse. It was also reported that the woman was spat at during the incident.

The incident took place towards the front of the store, near the parent and child parking spaces.

Police would particularly like to speak to a white man, described as being around 5ft. 10 inches tall, in his 60s, with tattoos around his ear and neck. He was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki-coloured trousers, and glasses, and had a shaved head.
