Surrey Police are looking into allegations of child sexual abuse following the release of files linked to Jeffrey Epstein by the US Department of Justice.

The investigation involves two separate reports of non-recent abuse.

One report relates to locations in Surrey and Berkshire in the mid-1990s to 2000. The other relates to the mid to late 1980s in West Surrey.

Following the December 2025 file release, Surrey Police became aware of a redacted report alleging non-recent human trafficking and sexual assaults on a minor in Virginia Water, Surrey, between 1994 and 1996.

A review carried out in December 2025 found no previous reports of these allegations being made to Surrey Police.

In February, the force called for witnesses to come forward.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

Surrey Police stated that they take all reports of sexual offences seriously and will pursue reasonable lines of enquiry to verify information or gather corroborating evidence.

Nationally, law enforcement is seeking access to unredacted versions of the released materials to fully assess and investigate the information.

The force has not provided further information at this time.
