Nick Daly, a 30-year-old from Oxted, Surrey, has denied charges of sending offensive communications to Reform UK politician Robert Jenrick, the Israeli embassy, and a UK Muslim news organisation.

Appearing at Southwark Crown Court, Daly pleaded not guilty to six counts of sending malicious communications.

Allegations outlined

Daly is accused of sending at least 30 "indecent or grossly offensive" emails to the Israeli embassy between 1st April and 8th May, and another alleged email on 3rd May.

In addition, he denies two charges related to voicemails sent to Mr Jenrick's office on 27th January, purportedly to cause distress or anxiety to the Newark MP.

Daly also refutes accusations of sending an offensive email on 17th April to the editor of the UK-based Muslim news organisation, 5Pillars, alongside claims of sending at least seven more emails to the editor between 1st April and 8th May.

Court's decision

His Honour Judge Tony Baumgartner has remanded Daly in custody and scheduled a four-day trial beginning on 2nd November 2026 at Southwark Crown Court.

Daly continues to deny all counts, which pertain to sending electronic communications that are reported to convey messages considered indecent or grossly offensive with the intention of causing distress or anxiety.
