Five local football sides are in action this afternoon (Saturday 17 October) playing for spot in the FA Cup first round proper

These sides are Aldershot, Woking, Dorking, Leatherhead and Chertsey.

As Aldershot and Woking are in the National League, it'll be their first match in the tournament. The other three have had to go through various qualifying matches just to reach this stage

Qualification for the first round proper would see the sides go into the next round alongside sides from League 2 and League 1, meaning a meeting with recent Premier League champions Leicester City would be possible

All the matches kick off at 3pm this afternoon and are as following

  • Boreham Wood v Woking FC
  • Dover Athletic v Dorking Wanderers
  • Leatherhead FC v Yeovil Town
  • Plymouth Parkway v Chertsey Town
  • Aldershot Town v Tadley Calleva

A draw would mean the sides would have to play a replay match at a separate date, from the first round proper, replays are no longer in place

Should the sides qualify, the first round proper of the FA Cup is due to take place on the weekend of 7 November
