Pensioner in hospital with serious injuries after crash in Farnborough

An 88-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Farnborough.

Police were called at 11am on Monday 13 October to a report of a collision on Southwood Road.

It involved a blue Ford Focus and a red Suzuki Swift.

The driver of the Suzuki, an 88-year-old man from Farnborough, was seriously injured and remains in hospital.

A 19-year-old man from Yateley was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without a licence, failing to stop, and driving without insurance.

A 20-year-old man from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

They have both been bailed until 14 January while further enquiries continue.

As part of their investigation, officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident and anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage.
