Police seek help to identify man linked to Ashtead fraud case

Police are asking for public assistance to identify a man captured in a CCTV image, as he may have crucial information regarding a fraud investigation in Ashtead.

The incident involves fraudulent behaviour at an address in Ashtead between 12pm and 2:50pm on Thursday, 12th June, during which the victim's bank card was illegally obtained and used.

Authorities wish to speak to the man shown in the CCTV, believed to be around 6ft tall and in his mid-30s.

Anyone who recognises the man or has information that could aid the investigation is encouraged to contact police, quoting PR/45260069854, via direct message or by calling 101.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
