Police launch witness appeal following collision on the A31

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a woman died following a collision on the A31.
Police were called at 4.28pm yesterday to the scene of the incident on the southbound carriageway of the A31 Farnham Road, near Froyle. The collision involved a silver Volkswagen Golf and a grey Skoda Roomster.
The driver of the Skoda, a woman in her 80's, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers have informed her family.
A 40-year-old man from Haslemere and a 24-year-old woman from Winchester have both been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They remain in custody.
