Motorcyclist dies in Godalming crash

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area or has dashcam footage to come forward

A man in his 60s has died following a motorcycle crash on Grayswood Road in Godalming.

Emergency services were called to the A286, near Brook, shortly before 3.20pm on Friday 27 June. Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, but the rider of a black Triumph Tiger motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have seen what happened to contact them.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “Were you travelling through the area of Grayswood Road between Brook and Haslemere Garden Centre at around 3pm on Friday, 27 June?

“We are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or who has CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured the incident or the motorcycle before the collision.”
