Riders suffer life-threatening injuries following crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in Chertsey that left two motorcycle riders with life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened at 5.45 pm on 13th June on the M25 clockwise carriageway, specifically on the slip road at junction 12 leading to the M3.

The riders, a man in his 30s and a man in his 40s, were taken to hospital by air ambulance.

Their next of kin have been informed.

The M25 clockwise carriageway was closed between junctions 11 and 12 for several hours while emergency services addressed the situation; it has since reopened.

However, the slip road from the junction 12 clockwise carriageway onto the M3 remains closed.

Police request anyone with information about the collision, especially those with CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage, to come forward.

Authorities are keen to trace the movements of the motorcycle riders prior to the collision and seek details from anyone who saw a group of motorcycle riders on the M25 beforehand.
