A man's been stabbed in Dorking.

Officers were called to a property on Stubs Hill, by the South East Coast Ambulance Service shortly after 6.35pm on Sunday evening, after reports of a stabbing.

A man was been taken to hospital with injuries consistent with a stabbing.

A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Due to the nature of this incident, armed officers were dispatched to the scene and assisted with the arrest.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident. Both parties involved were known to each other and officers do not believe there to be any wider risk to the public.
