Man jailed after trying to hide crack cocaine in Aldershot

A drug dealer who tried to hide almost 15g of crack cocaine in Aldershot has been jailed.

29 year-old Hassan Jawad, of Cotswold Gardens, London, was a passenger in a silver Lexus which was seen travelling at speed on the A325 in the early hours of Sunday 11 January.

Officers also carried out a search and located £1,405 in cash. All items were seized.

He pleaded guilty and was jailed for a total of 28 months at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday 30 April.
