Man charged after stabbing in Walton

26-year-old set for court appearance following serious assault

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Walton.

Louie Wilkinson, 26, who has no fixed address, faces charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a Class B drug, namely ketamine.

Surrey Police were called by the ambulance service following the discovery of a man in his 30s with severe injuries on a footpath near the Anglers public house on Manor Road on the 13th of May.

The victim was transported to hospital by air ambulance.

Wilkinson was arrested on 30th June and remains in custody ahead of his next court appearance at Guildford Crown Court on 30th July.
