Man charged with rape in Guildford
The alleged offences occurred in the Manor Park area
A man has been charged with several serious sexual assault offences, including rape, in Guildford.
20-year-old Amr Karim, an Egyptian national living in London, is charged with two counts of rape, two counts of attempted rape, and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
These alleged offences reportedly occurred in the early hours of 28th June in a property in the Manor Park area and involve one woman.
Karim was arrested on 2nd July and is expected to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court today, 6th July.
Surrey Police say the investigation is ongoing, and the victim is currently receiving support from specialist officers.
