Man arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Farnborough

20-year-old arrested after police seize more than £19,000

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after officers seized more than £19,000 in cash in Farnborough.

Officers noticed suspected drug-related activity linked to a VW Golf on St Christopher’s Place at around 2.15pm on Tuesday 10 February.

A search was carried out and officers located more than £200 in cash and suspected Class A drugs.

Following this, officers then carried out a search at a property on Buckland Close and located more than £19,000 in cash.

The cash has been seized.

A 20-year-old man from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of:

  • Being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug
  • Acquire / use / possess criminal property
  • Possess a controlled drug of Class A
  • Drive a motor vehicle with a specified controlled drug above the specified limit

The man remains in custody while police carry out their enquiries.
