Man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in Aldershot
Police have been investigating an alleged assault against a 13-year-old girl on Friday
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following an alleged incident involving a teenage girl in Aldershot.
Hampshire Police say between 9am and 10am on Friday 10th July, a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man driving a black car in Lower Farnham Road in Aldershot.
The man reportedly asked the girl multiple times where she was going before exiting the vehicle and touching her leg.
The girl was able to push him away and quickly left the area, seeking help from a member of the public.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or noticed a black car acting suspiciously in that area during the time frame given.
