A Farnborough man has been charged with several offences following the discovery of suspected Class A drugs and £2,000 in cash.

James Spencer, 37, from Union Street is facing charges including possession with intent to supply controlled drugs of Class A and Class B, possession of a Class B drug, acquisition of criminal property, driving without a licence, and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

The charges stem from an incident yesterday (Tuesday 4th August) when police conducted a proactive stop of a BMW near Farnborough train station, £2,000 in cash and suspected Class A drugs were found.

A follow-up warrant at an address on Rectory Road led to the seizure of a large quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs.

Spencer is scheduled to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 5th August).
