M25 shut in both directions in Surrey

Traffic is being turned around on the M25 in Surrey as police deal with an incident on the motorway.

The road is shut between Junction 9 and Junction 11 as officers deal with a concern for safety at Junction 10 at Painshill, Surrey Police have confirmed.

The incident has caused long queues on the motorway.

UPDATE: 11:35AM

National Highways have confirmed the closures on the M25 at J10 are now in the process of being lifted.
