Investigation underway after serious collision in Hythe

An investigation is underway after a serious collision in Hythe.

Police were called just after 7pm last night (7/3/26) - a woman in her 50s suffered serious injuries.

A Police Statement said:

"We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Hythe.

"Police were called just after 7pm yesterday (Saturday 7 March) to a report of a collision on Southampton Road.

"A grey Volkswagen T-Roc was travelling north when it left the carriageway. The driver, a woman in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.

"If you witnessed this incident, saw the car in the moments leading up to the collision, or have any information or dash cam footage that may assist our investigation, please call 101 quoting reference 44260111753."
