Surrey Police are investigating after receiving a report of a sexual assault on Earlswood Common in Redhill.

The incident reportedly took place at around 9.30am on Wednesday, 18th March, when the victim was approached by a man while walking their dog.

The suspect is described as a White male, in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall and of medium build.

He was seen wearing a thin black jacket with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms, and black shoes.

Borough Commander Lyndsey Whatley said: “Reports of this nature are taken extremely seriously, and we have a number of enquiries underway in relation to this.

"I would also ask that if you were in the area around Earlswood Lakes on Wednesday morning and you saw or heard anything that may relate, or you have dash-cam or helmet-cam footage that may be of assistance, please get in touch.

“Officers have been in the location this week and we will continue to have high visibility foot patrols in the area so please come and speak to us as well.”
