Pedestrian seriously injured in Guildford collision

A young man in his late teens has been taken to hospital with serious injuries

A teenager has been seriously injured following a collision in Guildford last night.

Officers were called to Egerton Road shortly after 9pm last night (Sunday, 9 November) following reports of a collision involving the driver of a dark-coloured car and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a young man in his late teens, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The collision occurred at a mini roundabout on Egerton Road close to Joseph’s Kebab Van.

The driver of the car failed to stop and fled the scene in the direction of Park Barn.

No arrests have been made, but enquiries are ongoing to locate the vehicle and driver.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision to get in touch.

They are also seeking CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident.
